How do I activate my phone upon arrival?

Step 1: Please call customer applications via cell by dialing *22888 from 8am-9pm EST Mon.-Fri., 9am-9pm EST Sat. or 11am-7pm EST Sun.

You will need the following information:
Mobile Number, Zip Code
Last 4 digits of the Account Holder’s SSN

Step 2: Complete the Activation
1. Insert the battery into your new mobile phone and power it ON.
2. Dial *22888 Send to complete the activation. When the activation has completed, your phone will read Activation Successful. This may take a few minutes.

Can I transfer info from my existing phone to my new one?

Let us help you upgrade! With most phones, we can transfer information from your existing phone to your new one so that you can keep your contacts and stored pictures.  The process only a few minutes in our retail locations, and varies by device.  Visit us for more information!

What is the charge to use Mobile Office?

BlueWorks Mobile Office is available for $39.95 per month for email and internet use. Mobile Office uses text messaging for setup; therefore a text messaging package must also be selected. If no text package is selected, outbound text messages will be billed at $.20 per message. Inbound text messages are free of charge.

How am I billed for accessing BREW applications for my phone?

You’ll need to pick a Basic Mobile Web/BREW® package, since you are technically using mobile web service to access the BREW® application catalog.

How am I billed for Mobile Web Access?

You will need to select a Mobile Web plan, that gives you access to the Mobile Web menu and BREW® applications (if available on your phone):

How am I billed for picture messaging?

Picture Messaging goes hand-in-hand with Mobile Web due to the way your pictures are sent, so you must subscribe to one of the Mobile Web/BREW™ Access/Picture & Text Messaging Bundled Plans, which will appear on your bill each month.

How do I know if a position has been filled or is still open?

We make every effort to ensure that the job postings are up to date and that filled positions are no longer posted on the site.

Do you offer internships?

What should I wear to my interview?

We are a business-casual work environment.  You will not need to wear a suit and tie unless you are personally more comfortable that way.

What is the interview process like?

You will be contacted by a Human Resources representative from Bluegrass Cellular or member of the management team for additional information or possibly a telephone or in-person interview.  Additional interviews and skills assessments may also be involved depending on the position.

If I’ve applied online, should I follow up by sending my resume to you via mail or fax?

No, it is not necessary to send a hard copy of a resume.  Applying online is the best way to be considered for positions.

How will I know if you received my application?

You will receive an auto-reply email as confirmation that your resume was received.  We will review all submissions but will contact only those candidates whose skills, experience and qualifications meet our requirements for the position sought.

How do I apply for a position?

Use our Job Search Tool to narrow down your opportunities.  Complete an online application.  This process may take about 30 minutes to complete, but if you do not have time to complete it all at once, any information you enter will be saved.  By using the login and password you created, you can go back to your information in your profile and update it at any time.  No faxes or phone calls please.

When I delete an email from my PDA device, does it delete it permanently from whatever account I am synching with?

The email will appear in the deleted box on your device but will not be deleted from your inbox in your regular email box until you delete it from there.  However, please note that if you delete email from your regular email box, the email will be deleted from your PDA inbox and will not show up in your deleted items at all.
