WBKO Teams with Bluegrass Cellular for WBKO FOX’s The X Factor Audition Pass Contest

Local winner gets guaranteed audition with show’s producers

Bowling Green, Ky.—One local vocal group or solo artist will win the chance to contend for a spot on Simon Cowell’s newest singing competition through WBKO Fox’s The X Factor Audition Pass Contest, locally sponsored by Bluegrass Cellular. 

The contest, which kicks off Monday, April 18, 2011, will provide travel, hotel accommodations and an audition pass for a local winner to attend The X Factor audition in Dallas, Texas on May 26.  The winner will also receive a prize package from Bluegrass Cellular.

To enter the WBKO Fox’s The X Factor Audition Pass Contest, contestants must submit a 90 second audition video between Monday, April 18 and Friday, May 6.  Videos must be accompanied by a completed contest application, and can be submitted the following ways:
• Delivered in person to one of the following Bluegrass Cellular Customer Care Centers:
• 1661 Campbell Lane or 1355 Veterans Memorial Lane in Bowling Green
• 241 South L. Rogers Wells Blvd. or 2369 Happy Valley Road in Glasgow
• 2902 Ring Road or 1608 Ring Road in Elizabethtown
• 1850 S. Hwy. 27 in Somerset
• 399 Campbellsville Bypass, Suite 5 in Campbellsville
• By mail or dropped off in person to WBKO-TV studios at 2727 Russellville Road in Bowling Green
• By emailing the web address of a 90 second “public” YouTube video link to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (please include name and telephone number).

Like The X Factor, WBKO Fox’s The X Factor Audition Pass Contest is open to anyone age 12 and older.  Both solo artists and vocal groups are eligible to compete.
