Bluegrass Cellular Expands High-speed Coverage in Ohio County
Customers will experience faster network speeds
Beaver Dam, Ky. (July 15, 2010) – Bluegrass Cellular has expanded its third-generation (3G) evolution-data optimized (EVDO) high-speed wireless service in Ohio County. The expansion will add coverage to Beaver Dam and Rockport, as well as upgrade service along the Western Kentucky Parkway between Beaver Dam and Central City, and along Highway 231 between the Western Kentucky Parkway and Beaver Dam.
The expanded service means Bluegrass Cellular customers will experience faster picture and video messaging, faster game and ringtone downloads, faster wireless air cards for laptop computers and faster data speeds for PDAs and smartphones.

Bluegrass Cellular’s advanced 3G service provides speeds of up to 800+ kbps (kilobits per second) for phones and up to 1.2+ mbps (megabits per second) for PDAs, smartphones and wireless aircards.
