ELIZABETHTOWN, KENTUCKY - Bluegrass Cellular announced the rollout of its nationwide 3rd Generation EV-DO data service, which offers high speed data access for wireless phones, PDAs and laptop aircards that are EV-DO enabled. The 3G coverage extends nationwide in select markets, where available. 3G technology means faster wireless broadband speeds of up to 400+ kilobits per second, for rapid delivery of picture messages, email, and other uploads and downloads. Bluegrass Cellular continues to build out its 3G EV-DO network coverage in select counties of their home coverage area to ensure that customers in more rural areas will have wireless broadband access.
