Bluegrass Cellular launched Battles in the Bluegrass during the 2010 football season as part of the company’s ongoing support of community high school athletics. This year, Bluegrass Cellular called on the community to select the four featured rivalry games by voting online at www.battlesinthebluegrass.com.
“For the second year in a row, Bluegrass Cellular is proud to support high school sports rivalries through our Battles in the Bluegrass program,” said Barry Nothstine, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Bluegrass Cellular. “We are thrilled with the season’s matchups and can’t wait to bring our Battles crew to each game.”
Before each game, fans can log on to www.battlesinthebluegrass.com to view preview videos of each match up. Fans can also review video highlights online after each featured game, and place their vote for the Play of the Game contest. The school with the winning play from each game will be awarded $250. At the end of the Battles season the community can vote for the Play of the Season from among the Play of the Game winners. The school that wins Play of the Season will be awarded $1,000 from Bluegrass Cellular.
